The diet in the Marches
In the short distance from sea to Mountain the area offers varius climats ideal for a large scale of genuin aliments which make the base for plenty of delicious dishes. We are happy to recommend lokal fancy food restaurants.
The base of good kitchening in the Marches are: - Fine olive oils, spelled and durum wheat (to a considerable extent organic)
- The popular "Marchigiani" and "Chianina" cattle are kept unshackled and the "Bovinmarche" - Certificate offers organic standard.
- "Cinta Senese" and "Mora Romagnola", two ancient breeds of pigs are nursed again.
- Truffles, mushrooms, wild herbs and berries make part of seasonal cooking.
- The products of the hunters find lovers especially at the village festivals ...
- Honey from the hinterland is of a rare quality and highly organic
Generous Breakfast is served at individual tables in the garden.
You can choose between tea or Italian coffee, served with an selection of home-baked breads, jams made from our own fruit and honey from local beehives.
Eggs, salami and a choice of cheeses are also available.
The culinary journey takes you through at least four courses all drawn from Mediterranean tradition. The charming surroundings make each meal an event in itself.
